Thrillist is where I learned of the Boner Burger at Animal after a friend of mine showed me the article. Upon tasting the burger, I was astonished with the impactful flavor, and basked in the glory of the dripping bone marrow fat and 420 sauce.

I do no know Jeff Miller at Thrillist, but it seemed to me that he was very ecited about Animal having a secret menu item. Apparently this was a huge deal to him as I read his article (http://www.thrillist.com/eat/los-angeles/mid-wilshire/animal-secret-off-menu-burger-best-la-restaurants).
I could not help but be overcome with the same ecitement as Jeff, so I knew I had to try the only burger available at Animal, which is off-menu, and apparently not a well-kept secret. The burger packs a ton of flavor, and is very good. It is smaller than what I like but that does not take away from it’s deliciousness.
