FIGat7th is an interesting addition to the atmosphere of DTLA. It is not like a traditional shopping center. It is more hip and vibrant. While you can shop and get household items, you can also have fun, listen to live music, enjoy a meal, have a date, or a combination of all these things.

The Melt at FIGat7th is inside their Taste Food Hall, and adds variety to the list of options there. On this episode of The Burger Crawl, I try The Original Burger. The Original Burger is the first burger offered at The Melt, which got its start making delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. They take the concept of grilling cheese directly onto bread, and apply it to a potato bun burger. Their concept is simple, perfectly-sized for the average person, and truly a treat.
