Red Robin’s Big Ghost Burger | The Burger Crawl – Ep. 49 Quincy James Freeman28 February 2016042 views After a long day of filming, MotomanTV, Jeff Fu (of Wreckless Eating), and I find ourselves at Red Robin getting drunk off Bottomless Rootbeer Floats. On this week's episode of The Burger Crawl I try the Big Ghost Burger, which I suspected has Ghost Chilis in it, but turns out it was only Jalepeno. The burger was flavorful, and packed a child's punch of heat and spice. While good, it was not the abuse that I am used from something with the word Ghost in the name. In the near future, Motoman and I have planned to spend out time gulping down bottomless rootbeer floats whilst playing monopoly. This is some sort of tradition he has, and loves immensely. Today's episode, in my opinion, was more about good friends, and a good time than it was about the burger. I love food, but it would stand to reason to correct that statement by saying I love junk food. I came up with the idea for Reverse Cheat Day while at a party, and talking to some vegans about The Burger Crawl. In my position as a food blogger, I am often invited to try new restaurant, or new to me restaurants. That is the case here, and it could not have happened at a better time. Necco in Westwood, CA is a Japanese restaurant on the westside that takes a small plate look at healthier eating than I am used to. The dishes are prepared with locally-sourced produce, and decorated with flowers. It is creative, healthy, and refreshing. Necco is not a vegan or vegetarian restaurant but it is a place where meat eaters and vegetarians can go together without having the pressure of choosing between the two worlds.
