My first real meal was Panda Express across the parking lot: a bigger plate with chow mein and rice, the new spicy sesame beef and shrimp, a side of teriyaki chicken and a watermelon refresher.
The new beef was really good, and so was the shrimp. The teriyaki chicken is still my favorite thing at Panda, and I’ve always been obsessed with it. For once I skipped the sweet and sour sauce on the rice.
I left stuffed. Back on the road.
