Lionel Sternberger is credited with adding cheese to the hamburger sandwich in the 1926 at The Rite Spot. Since then Pasadena has held its rightful place in the hearts and minds of burger lovers and burger historians. Cheeseburger Week in is a week long celebration of the cheeseburger, and a remembering of the great history it has brung to burger culture, and to local Pasadena, CA.

My first stop on the week long burger crawl is at Dog Haus Biergarten. You are allowed to select any burger from their reasonably priced menu, and indulge.
