Dearest Wayne & Garrett,
There are moments in life that feel like a scene out of a cheesy rom-com, where the world goes blurry and all that exists is the intense eye contact between two people. One such moment for me is when we’re knee-deep in a network outage, staring at each other across a tangle of cables.
It’s not just a quick glance, it’s a full-on staring contest, minus the awkward laughter. In those moments, I feel like I’m witnessing the birth of a thousand memes in your brains, as you troubleshoot like digital Sherlock Holmes.
And as you stare back, I hope you see the same – a mix of awe and sheer panic, because honestly, I have no clue what’s going on half the time. But hey, it’s a team effort, right? We’re like the IT Avengers, assembling to fight the forces of network chaos.
Sometimes, during these epic stare-downs, the server room transforms into a discotheque. The flashing lights and fan noises become our soundtrack, and we’re the awkward IT trio busting out some serious problem-solving moves.
In your eyes, I see endless possibilities. A future filled with Wi-Fi that actually works, printers that don’t jam at the worst possible moment, and maybe even a coffee machine that doesn’t require a tech support ticket. And in my heart, I know that as long as we have these shared moments of silent (and slightly terrified) communication, our partnership will be unbreakable.
So let’s keep those staring contests going, those prolonged moments of “I have no idea what I’m doing, but you seem to, so please keep eye contact.” Let’s continue to get lost in each other’s eyes, finding a mix of inspiration, confusion, and the unshakeable belief that we’ll somehow fix this mess together.
With a mix of admiration and caffeine-fueled anxiety,
