Before flying back into the snow, I got one more California meal: In-N-Out. A 4×4 animal style, fries light well and a Lemon Up. Californians love to complain about In-N-Out’s fries. Order them light well and they come out like potato chips.
Between In-N-Out and Tommy’s, it felt good to be home for a week.
At the Las Vegas airport, on my way to Minneapolis and then Forest City, Iowa, I had a CPK pizza with mushroom and pepperoni. I meant to order it on the cauliflower crust and forgot; so much for the healthy option. It was still pretty good. With it, a Honey Bee, basically Jim Beam and lemonade, and really good.
I landed late, got to the yard and found my unit: not the Ekko I expected, but a Winnebago View. Next stop, whatever food the road brings.
