Before we filmed the Hamburger Hamlet episode of The Burger Crawl, a friend caught me in a candid moment. It’s one of the more honest things I’ve said on camera.
I’m not a chef. I’m not even a very good home cook. I eat a lot more food than I’ll ever make, so when I give my opinion on a plate, that’s all it is: my opinion. It’s never personal against the chef, or whoever cooked the food that day.
I’m a loudmouth foodie with an opinion and a genuine love for food and for the craft behind it. I want to share that with the world, and hopefully make a living doing it. Respect for the people in the kitchen comes first.
