Necco, A Japanese Tapas Restaurant | Reverse Cheat Day – Ep. 1

Eating is something that I do more for pleasure than any other reason. I love food, but it would stand to reason to correct that statement by saying I love junk food. I came up with the idea for Reverse Cheat Day while at a party, and talking to some vegans about The Burger Crawl.

In my position as a food blogger, I am often invited to try new restaurant, or new to me restaurants. That is the case here, and it could not have happened at a better time.

Necco in Westwood, CA is a Japanese restaurant on the westside that takes a small plate look at healthier eating than I am used to. The dishes are prepared with locally-sourced produce, and decorated with flowers. It is creative, healthy, and refreshing. Necco is not a vegan or vegetarian restaurant but it is a place where meat eaters and vegetarians can go together without having the pressure of choosing between the two worlds.
